The Cloud Who Wanted to Travel : Bedtime story

Hello friends! 🌟 Welcome to tonight’s bedtime story. Snuggle into your blanket, close your eyes, and let’s go on a magical journey together…

Far above the mountains and rivers, in the wide blue sky, lived a little cloud named Nimbo. Nimbo was fluffy and white, soft as cotton, but unlike the other clouds, he was very curious. While the big clouds were happy to float lazily, Nimbo often looked down at the earth and wondered:

“What’s it like to visit the forests, the oceans, and the villages below? I want to see the world!”

The older clouds chuckled kindly. “Silly little cloud,” they said, “clouds belong in the sky. The world below is not for us.”

But Nimbo’s heart longed for adventure. One breezy evening, as the sun was painting the horizon gold and pink, Nimbo whispered to the wind, “Please, can you take me on a journey?”

The wind, who loved playful spirits, swirled around him with a laugh. “Hold on tight, little one! I’ll take you to places you’ve only dreamed of.”

And off they went!

First, the wind carried Nimbo to a vast forest. Below him, tall trees stretched toward the sky, their leaves shimmering like emeralds. Birds flew through his mist, chirping happily. One tired bird even landed on Nimbo’s fluffy back for a rest. Nimbo giggled, “So this is the forest! How peaceful it is.”

Next, the wind guided him to the sea. Nimbo watched the waves rise and fall, sparkling under the moonlight. Dolphins leapt joyfully, splashing water that tickled Nimbo’s belly. A fisherman looked up and smiled, grateful for the little cloud shading him from the bright sun. Nimbo beamed proudly.

But the most magical moment came when Nimbo floated over a small village. The houses had glowing windows, and children laughed and pointed at him from below. “Look, Mama! That cloud looks like a friendly bear!” one child shouted. Another said, “No, no, it looks like a dragon!” Nimbo laughed so much that his fluffy edges wobbled.

As night fell, Nimbo grew sleepy. The wind carried him gently to the top of a mountain, where the stars twinkled all around him. “Did you enjoy your journey?” the wind asked softly.

“Oh yes,” Nimbo sighed happily. “I learned something very important. Even though I am just a small cloud, I can bring shade, rest, and joy to others. My travels showed me that every cloud, big or small, has a purpose.”

The stars above winked at him, and the moon whispered, “Little one, you shine just as bright as we do—only in your own way.”

With that, Nimbo closed his eyes and drifted into a gentle sleep, floating peacefully in the night sky. From then on, whenever children looked up at the clouds and smiled, Nimbo felt proud, knowing he was part of their happiness.

And so, little dreamer, as you close your eyes tonight, remember: just like Nimbo, your journey is special, and your light brings joy to the world.

Goodnight, sweet dreamers… may your dreams be fluffy and bright.
